Sunday, February 12, 2006 Very Very Small When I was growing up, I would lay in bed and think about Soviet nuclear warheads heading over the pole to destroy the continent. Now as an adult, I realize that the apocalypse for many will come while curled up in our beds with our bodies fighting tiny viruses inside. After having the flu, you really can picture the world ending with a whimper and not a bang. You have to remember that more WWI troops died from the Spanish Flu than from fighting the war itself. Here is a track I wrote using microscopic sounds that, like a virus, exist at an almost atomic level. But what is the message? To me this track is more positive. The aural equivalent of a sunrise. Check it out: False Positive ArchivesDecember 2004 January 2005 February 2005 March 2005 April 2005 May 2005 July 2005 August 2005 September 2005 October 2005 November 2005 December 2005 January 2006 February 2006 March 2006 April 2006 June 2006 July 2006 August 2006 September 2006 October 2006 November 2006 February 2007 April 2007 June 2007 July 2007 August 2007 September 2007 November 2007 December 2007 |
